heart’s desire.

Collective Kitchen
When: Several morning sessions and one evening session are scheduled each month.
In the spacious, well-equipped Caroline Cordner Kitchen, collective cooking is the ultimate shared experience. Fun and fellowship flourish. From shopping to chopping, planning and cleaning, every cook contributes. And each one benefits as portions of freezable fragrant soups, pastas and nourishing stews are ladled out for home use.
Some groups concentrate on vegetarian fare, while others prepare a variety of dishes that include low-cost, low-fat meats and fish. Some men and women share a coffee break after cooking, while others share a simple meal.
Covenant Groups
To join a group, contact: Prue Rains
prue.rains@mcgill.ca or 514 481-8653.
Covenant groups are small groups of six to nine people who make a commitment to meet twice a month for at least a year. Using a standard format that helps to build comfort and trust and a facilitator who helps everyone to stay on track. A covenant group provides an opportunity to get to know oneself and others at a deeper level than possible during Sunday’s social hour.
