Please join us on Sunday, January 8, at 10:30 am for a sermon entitled Coming Full Circle, delivered by our sabbatical minister, Rev. Carole Matignacco (Rev. Diane Rollert is in the Philippines until April). Music by pianist Sandra Hunt. After the time for all ages, all the children will meet in the Children's Chapel to walk the small labyrinth together.
Please bring non-perishable food items to share with the NDG Food Depot.
During the month of January, all unidentified cash in the collection baskets will be donated to Head and Hands, an organization that works with youth to promote their physical and mental well-being.

Social and Environmental Concerns Committee (SECC)
Help us plan a fundraising supper for "Appetite for Learning," a school lunch project in the Leogane area of Haïti. Parents are more likely to send their children to school if they know a good meal will be served. Education and nutrition go hand in hand to give the children as good a start as possible. We would love lots of ideas and your participation.
Longtime and new members welcome.

Help Wanted
Greeters required!
Guidelines are available if you are not sure what your function will be. To be a greeter, contact Petrina Lee Poy at 514-485-5555. Or sign up on the sheet in Phoenix Hall near the back door.
Join the Java Jivers!
One of the best things about Sunday morning is the social time in Phoenix Hall ... and the availability of coffee and tea. However, refreshments do not happen by themselves - which is good. If they did, we would be deprived of the opportunity for a good time as we make and serve refreshments. A team shares the work so that we can have fun together and provide comfort to members and friends.
We need six people each Sunday. Would you like to be one of the gang? Contact Paco (aka Frank Greene) to join in. Email him here, call him at 514-933-4532, or sign up on the sheet posted in Phoenix Hall.
The Caring Network
We are always seeking new volunteers. If you are willing to make a reassuring call, drive someone to an appointment, cook a meal, deliver a meal or write a friendly note, we would like to hear from you. If you know of someone who would appreciate our help, please contact this month's coordinator, listed in the monthly newsletter. If you're interested in being a volunteer or coordinator, please contact Janine Cobb at 514-938-9617.
