Bring a flower to share at our flower communion, this Sunday, June 3. The service, entitled We've Come
This Far, Now What? by Rev. Diane Rollert, will touch on what's happening in Quebec with the student crisis. Music will be provided by our music director, Sandra Hunt, and the Parts in Peace Choir.
And this being the first Sunday of the month, please bring a non-perishable food item to share with the NDG Food Depot.
During the month of June, all unidentified money in the collection baskets will be donated to the St. James Drop-in Centre which offers a safe and supportive environment where marginalized and/or homeless people can experience community. Read on for more events happening this week, including pathway to membership, for those who might like to join our community.
Sean Dohring is cycling in the Tour de l'Isle, so there will be no choir practice this week. Families with children, please arrive for the service in time for children to carry the flowers into the Sanctuary, for our annual procession of the flowers and flower ceremony.
In religious education, we will combine the three classes in the children's chapel, where we can review the year's stories and lessons, spread out there to enjoy!
