Coming up this Sunday, Matt Meyer will lead us in an exploration of music, community, and justice. How does the experience of music give us the courage to live out our faith in the world? Join us this Sunday, November 30 at 10:30 am for rhythm and song, quiet reflection, and an experience of the holy in music.
The budget was approved Sunday, November 23 at our annual Budget Meeting. Next, we're moving ahead with our pledge campaign. You can now make your pledge online with our 2015 Pledge Form. You'll also be able to download a pdf if you prefer to mail or carry the form in. Your generous contribution keeps our community growing.

Carmina Choir rehearsal
The choir will be preparing music for a December seasonal concert, which will include excerpts from Carmina Burana, HMS Pinafore, light works, humorous music and a sing-along. To be a member of Carmina, no ability to read music is necessary as learning aids are provided. A sense of humour is an advantage.

Parts in Peace Choir rehearsal
Everyone is welcome to join the UCM's designated Sunday Service Choir! All that is required is enthusiasm, a certain commitment to attend rehearsals in order not to let your colleagues down, and a binder and pencil. Our goal is to learn beautiful, accessible and fun songs from all styles and periods. We offer these songs to complement the service themes, generally once a month at a Sunday morning service. Recordings of voice parts for many of the songs we learn are available online at http://www.ucmtl.ca/ucm-music-resources

Matt Meyer, drummer, performer and storyteller
Matt Meyer will lead us in an exploration of music, community, and justice. How does the experience of music give us the courage to live out our faith in the world? Join us this Sunday for rhythm and song, quiet reflection, and an experience of the holy in music. Matt got rave reviews when he led our service in May 2013, and we're glad to have him back again. This is a service not to miss!
Sunday, November 30, after the 'Time for all Ages'
R.E.: Grade School and Preschool groups will be starting to hear stories and prepare materials for the Solstice Multigenerational Service on December 21. Junior and Senior Youth will meet separately with their leaders, and the Nursery, of course, will be full of babies, toddlers and caregivers! November Courage: Check out the refreshed French Funday bulletin board beside the elevator. This month, the children learned more about the courageous founder of the Unitarian Service Committee in Canada, Lotta Hitchmanova, and thought of other people they consider brave!
Allez voir le babillard français à côté de l'ascenseur. Les enfants ont
appris l'histoire de la courageuse fondatrice de l'USC Canada, Lotta
Hitchmanova, et ont pensé d'autres personnes qu'ils jugeaient courageux!
