Join us Sunday, January 17 at 10:30 am for Laughing at Ourselves: UU Humour and Other Confessions with Rev. Diane Rollert, Philippe Chevalier, Susan Gray and music by Sandra Hunt and Maider Martineau. We Unitarians have long been on the receiving end of many a joke, and we often love to tell our own self-deprecating jokes about our questioning faith. This morning, we’ll experience several stand-up comic routines that will ask us to consider the depth and power of what makes us laugh at ourselves. In times of trial, sometimes laughter is the only way through.
Other events this week include the Council meeting on Wednesday, January 13 at 6:30 pm, a Stairwell Art Gallery Vernissage for Annie-Lou Chester on Thursday, January 14 at 5 pm, and a Vegan Dinner on Saturday, January 16 starting at 4:30 pm. In addition to the service on Sunday, there will be a Collage Afternoon and le Groupe de réflexion both starting at 1 pm.
