Yellow Door Concerts: “Close to Home/Bien de Chez Nous”
This concert showcases local talent, including special arrangements by composers Linda Morrison and Jason Noble, as well as arrangements of songs by Canadian icons Loreena McKennitt and Stan Rogers. We reprise the old favourite “A la Claire Fontaine” and liven up things with the “Island Spinning Song,” arranged by Canadian Composer Donald Patriquin. We also feature local Jazz pianist Chad Linsley. Please join us as we raise money to support “Vie autonome – Montreal” a local organization that supports people with disabilities to lead independent lives. Tickets are $20/$15 for students and seniors and are available from any Yellow Door Choir member or at the door.
