Meditation by Rev. Diane Rollert, 20 October 2013
May we each have the courage
to be ourselves,
to speak our minds,
to live our truth.
May we honour the humanity that connects us
no matter how we see divinity.
Where there is difference may we dare
to find common ground.
May we begin to open doors
letting in the light with care.
May we begin to speak, to listen, to hear
what is truly on our hearts.
May we own our own misgivings and history.
This is where we begin.
By whatever you call your source of love,
by whatever words you choose to express your longing and hope,
may you find peace and space
for something that calls you to live with integrity.
