All are welcome at our monthly letter-writing meetings. We meet around a table for a brief, friendly and informal discussion of a current global concern. Background information is provided, including suggestions for action (letters to government officials or the media). Following the discussion, we may write individual letters or send emails. We benefit from sharing ideas and feel satisfied that we have acted on our (often unfulfilled) good intentions. The responses we get to our letters lets us know our concerns have been noted. Bring writing paper, envelopes, your device, or a friend!

Collage Afternoons

Join us for an afternoon of creative play and self-exploration using collage. We work quietly at our own pace (without instruction). Materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own. No experience necessary. Please confirm your presence by contacting Avis Anderson or Janet Clancy at

Annual Events

News about upcoming events are listed in our monthly newsletter, Week at a Glance, on the kiosk in Phoenix Hall, and here on our website. Throughout the year, the church hosts a variety of special events, from an auction to a Fair Trade Craft Fair.

BidSunday: Our annual fundraiser with food and fun!  Each year, usually in early May, we hold an auction and sale to help support the work of the congregation.  Members and friends offer enticing goods and services and then bid on their favourite items. Offers include food, dinners, outings, vacation homes and more.
