Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins this Sunday evening at sundown. This is a time of sweetness but also of deep reflection and seeking forgiveness. Jews say to each other, “May our deeds inscribe us in the Book of life and blessing, righteousness and peace.” As Unitarian Universalists, we draw wisdom from this tradition among many other sources of inspiration, as we consider what it means to be fully present to who we are as a collective and as individuals.
