Music for an Afternoon, following our Midday Meal

Originally from Montería, a city on the north coast of Colombia, Leonardo Escobar is currently doing a Master’s degree in Piano Interpretation with Paul Stewart at the University of Montreal.  He has played as a soloist with the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Conservatory of Colombia, the Chía Symphonic Band and the Valle Symphonic Band in Colombia. He has also given piano recitals and chamber music in major cities in Colombia as well as in Lima, Peru and Montreal. In addition, Leonardo frequently collaborates with tuba player Fredy Romero, with whom he has just recorded his first CD called “TubaFortePiano”.
